Study Trip: Jatiwangi Part 2 of 2

Hello again brada and sista!

okay let's continue our notorious story in our study trip agenda at Jatiwangi! clap your hand please...

Thank you!

soo, after we visited the museum genteng and met Pak Kadus Ila, we have such a great "talkshow" with him regarding the background and the vision of building the Museum Genteng. Pak Kadus hoped that Museum Genteng will be the place for Jatiwangi Society to be proud of becoming the producer of Greatest genteng maker, the place where the society could appreciate their own history, culture, and their work. Magnificent!

Next destination, we are going to back to Jatiwangi Art Factory.

In JAF, all of us joined the Seminar Taun Tanah (Year of Soil Seminar). The seminar was about  how human should be wise and balance in life, between human to human, society to society, human to environment, and so on. The seminar talks was led by Pak Aat, he was so profound in bringing the talks and presentation became so powerful and make us realise that Art also has position in make a difference in life and society. everything was started from the simple thing, like most of us said, but yet, not everyone's believe.

After the seminar, all of us stared the sky, and were introspecting many things. uh.

The next agenda is the main agenda of Closiing Ceremony of CMF2015! cihuuy, yihuuy! we were waiting for this! wuo  uououououoo! believe us, the closing ceremony was stunning! it was really amazing! rare things that you (almost) won't see in another part of the globe! We dare you!

The closing ceremony opened by Jatiwangi Anthem, sang by Adanya Kenayah dan Najla. uuh, what the angelic voice! How cute it was!

And then of course the next performance would be full of ceramics instrument! ceramic was the core of this village, and ceramics became the potential material that could shaped the culture of Jatiwangi village. JAF as an artists collective that based in Jatiwangi, saw this potential  and they saw the potential that ceramic can build the culture, before, ceramics were only seen as material for properties like roofs, floors, decoration, etc, but for JAF ceramics could be seen as "everything"s material, it could be an artwork, and it also could be some music instruments! it could become a guitar, a flute, a drum, and other unique instruments that you even could not imagine before.

Hanyaterra was the band that using  those ceramics instrument, and their performance at that night, Hanyaterra x Ismal x Hari Pochang performed our (might be) most favourite song! SAMBALADO, popularised by Ayu Ting Ting bukan permen, bukan biskuit! and of course the song was re-arranged! and it was became much more better! what the great show! you might agree this time, after you watch their video...

And also there was NiKi Band! a.k.a Nini dan Aki Band X Hanyaterra!

And many more performance... from Pak Ginggih X Hanyaterra X Hari Pochang, Good Afternoon, The Nutrisi Besar, dkk

you may say, "Woow, it was cool, amaziing, yeesss" yeah, I know right, riight, riiiight! it was lucky for us, the Ilubiung squad delegates to saw them live. poor you guys, who could not attend this fantastic closing ceremony! yeaah poor you! boooo!

After all the fabulous and fancy performances, of course the next session would be, *drum rolls*
